The Edikan plant is situated in Central Ghana and supplies power to the Perseus mine, run by Perseus Mining Ghana Limited, an Australian listed company.
The Edikan plant is gas fired with a 33MW capacity generated from two 16.5MW Solar Titan 130 gas turbines together with accessories. The plant is connected to natural gas via our dedicated 57km 12” branch pipeline from the main primary pipeline. The Edikan plant was commissioned during September 2021 with commercial operations starting in August 2022.
