Genser signed a lease operations and maintenance agreement with Unilever Ghana Limited for the supply of power and steam to Unilever’s factory in Tema via a 5.5MW combined heat and power plant. The Unilever plant was commissioned in July 2012, ran on LPG and was retired in 2017 and is now in storage.
