Acerola Project
The Acerola Project is aimed at training and providing vulnerable people with the necessary skills and tools needed to gain sustainable livelihoods through acerola farming at Essumegya in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
What is acerola?
Acerola is a small cherry-like fruit, known for its exceptional vitamin C content, making it a powerhouse for supporting the immune system. They are native to South America. This vibrant red fruit also provides an array of other nutrients, including vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin and niacin.
