As part of our commitment to social interventions, our HSE and Community Relations team organized an eye screening program to mark World Sight Day on 12 October 2019. This free program was offered to communities along the Phase I Pipeline route including Huni Valley, Bompieso, Prestea Enyinam and Huniso, all within the Western Region of Ghana. In total, 523 locals were screened, and 159 SV/bifocal readers and over 500 packets of eye medication were issued. Our team also offered health and safety education to community members.
